HOTELSCOMBINED RECOGNISES MAINS OF TAYMOUTH COUNTRY ESTATE & GOLF COURSE AMONG THE BEST SELF CATERING ESTATES IN THE UK

An Australian based accommodation price comparison website, owned by Kayak, has selected Mains of Taymouth 5 star Country Estate & Golf Course at Kenmore to receive its official Recognition of Excellence Award.

The selection has come from HotelsCombined extensive surveys using data from millions of guest reviews for a wide range of accommodation choices within the UK.

The popular, family run estate at the mouth of Loch Tay, has consistently produced a high satisfaction rating among guests and travel industry experts. Mains of Taymouth has received 591 reviews and earned an impressive guest rating of 9.7 out of 10 on HotelsCombined.

The estate now joins an elite group of accommodation providers around the world that have been awarded the Recognition of Excellence certificate. This exclusive collection of highly rated accommodation has been checked using a strict set of criteria, such as the quality and consistency of reviews, the absence of recurring or unresolved disputes with customers, the popularity of the properties it lets out, and  the overall resulting score.

“We are delighted to receive this prestigious award,” said Pauline McLaren, General Manager of Mains of Taymouth. “Awards that depend on the opinions of our customers are always the most valued, as we ensure a very personal service here. We like to know that our guests are getting the very most out of their break here in beautiful Highland Perthshire, and we take great pride in our wide range of four and five star holiday homes, and the estate with its many amenities, in which they are situated.”

“We are thrilled to be working with the best accommodation providers in the UK,” said Melinda Balazs, Awards Programme Manager at HotelsCombined. “Mains of Taymouth Country Estate has proven its place amongst them with this award, and its commitment to providing high quality services to all guests.”
