Oriam has played host to three of Scotland’s leading national teams on the same day for the first time in its history.

Players from the national men’s and women’s football squads, as well as the Scotland men’s rugby team, trained at the state-of-the-art facility yesterday ahead of an important week for all three sides.

The Scotland Women’s National Team face world champions the USA tonight as they return to the SImple Digital Arena in Paisley for the first time since qualifying for next summer’s FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Elsewhere, Scotland’s men travel to Albania for a crucial tie in the UEFA Nations League on Saturday 17 November, as they look to continue their pursuit of a playoff place for UEFA Euro 2020.

Meanwhile, the Scotland’s men’s rugby team take on South Africa at BT Murrayfield on Saturday 17 November fresh from victory over Fiji last weekend.

Ross Campbell, Executive Director at Oriam, said: “The arrival of three top sporting teams on the same day is a milestone for us and underlines the world-class facilities we have at our disposal.

“We are one of the few places in the country where members of the public can train and stay active under the same roof as professional athletes. It’s a model that is going from strength-to-strength and we look forward to welcoming future and current sports stars.”
