A 15-year-old girl who has been missing for more than a week has been found “safe and well” in Edinburgh after being spotted on CCTV.

Courtney Booth was reported missing at about 23:00 BST on 22 September after failing to return home to her family in Stainforth, Doncaster.

South Yorkshire Police said she was found in the Scottish capital.

A force spokesperson thanked the public and Police Scotland for their support during the search.
