Division One: Aberdeen Standard Gordonians 0, Grange 10; Edinburgh University 0, Kelburne 2; Watsonians 2, Uddingston 8.

Australian Dylan Bean netted four goals as champions Grange earned a Division One double over misfiring Aberdeen Standard Gordonians in the North-East.

Frank Ryan and Dan Coultas both claimed doubles with Jacob Tweedie and Ali Irvine adding singles in the rout.

Meanwhile, at Peffermill, former champions Kelburne claimed a 2-0 victory over Edinburgh University.

Bustling Aussie striker Brad Hughes netted a treble as Uddingston underlined their recent improved form with an 8-2 hammering of Division One strugglers Watsonians also at Peffermill.

Steven Percy claimed two goals and John Jo Lavin, Paul Council and Ben Wilson got the others as Aussie coach Mick Evans’ men comfortably disposed of the Edinburgh side after being 4-0 ahead at half-time.

It was Uddingston’s second win this season over Watsonians and Percy said: “We used the momentum from the 3-3 draw with champions Grange last week to start well this week and we got ourselves in front early.

We were 4-0 ahead at the break and ran out comfortable winners which gives us another three points.”

And, in Division Two, Inverleith had to work hard to subdue a gritty Perthshire side 5-3 with 15-year-old, Borders-based striker Charlie Jack netting a treble.
