Edinburgh councillors today enjoyed a school dinner lunch during the break in the full council meeting.
The idea came from discussions at the Education Children and Families Committee last month when they talked about school meals.
Today the menu included
Scottish Country Lentil Broth
Pork Sausages Mashed Potato Gravy and Vegetables OR
Falafel with Pitta Cucumber Salad, Sweet Chilli Sauce and Mixed leaved
followed by Mixed Fruit Salad and a Chocolate Beetroot Brownie
It looks like they enjoyed the experience!
