Hibs’ Development Squad duo Patrick Martin and Ruari Paton have joined Gala Fairydean Rovers on loan until January 2019.
Martin, 19, is now in his second loan spell at Netherdale after playing with the Borders club in the second half of the 2017/18 campaign.
The highly rated keeper who has been involved in first-team training sessions, warm-ups and a matchday squad said: “I’m very happy to be back. I really enjoyed my time there last year and thought that I played well. The squad is stronger than last year.
“It is a club with big ambitions and I am really happy to be back on loan and I can’t wait to get playing.”
Paton will also link up with his club team-mate in the Lowland League until January with the aim to help make Gala Fairydean Rovers even more competitive in the division.
The 18-year-old forward is part of the Hibernian Development Squad and has been a regular feature in the team since his arrival. This will be his first loan move into the senior game in Scotland.
