Exam results are due tomorrow and Edinburgh College is hoping to help students with a Course Clearing Event this week to provide support and guidance to young people.
The event is aimed at helping anyone who has received their results to work out what they want to do next and discover the right college course for them.
The college’s funding, learning support and guidance teams will be on hand to provide students with advice, enrolment support and to help them make changes to existing applications. Fast track applications will be accepted on the day for the college’s clearing courses.
The event will run from 12 – 4pm at the college’s Granton Campus, 350 West Granton Road, EH5 1QE on Thursday 9 August.
Those who plan to attend are advised to bring all qualification certificates, portfolios and examples of work with them to speed up any application processing.
Edinburgh College Principal Annette Bruton said: “Exam results day is an important day for so many young people across the country as it determines what the next step in their education or career journey will be.
“It’s vital that our young people are given support, should they need it, after results are issued to ensure that they can make informed decisions about their futures.
“We have a wide range of courses available at the college and our staff will be on hand to advise students on the best options to help them achieve the future they want.
“We wish pupils and students across Scotland the best of luck ahead of exam results day.”
