Glasgow-born netminder Gary Russell has re-signed for Braehead Clan.
The 28-year-old will enter his fourth season with the Clan having joined from the Solway Sharks in 2015.
Russell has also iced for the Paisley Pirates, Dundee Stars and Edinburgh Capitals during his 14 year career.
Peter Russell, Clan’s head coach, said: “Gary is one of the premier back-ups in the Elite League (EIHL) and he is more than capable of playing at this level.
“He is in the top four to five British netminders and we are lucky to have him.”
Russell becomes the tenth player to join new-look Clan following the signings of Zack Fitzgerald, Scott Pitt, Matt Stanisz, Michal Gutwald, Gerard Hanson, Jack Musil, Craig Peacock, Matt Haywood, and Zach Sullivan.
