The Scottish SPCA is delighted to invite animal lovers in the Edinburgh and Lothians area to their local centre in Balerno on Saturday 12 May to celebrate their annual Rehoming Week!
Scotland’s animal welfare charity will have a number of events on the day including a bouncy castle, dog agility show, pony rides, tours and much more!
There will also be competitions and raffles which includes prizes from Edinburgh Zoo, Scottish Rugby, Deep Sea World and Norton House Hotel and Spa.
Centre Manager Diane Aitchison said, “We’re really looking forward to the open day and would love to see as many animal lovers come along as possible!
“We’re inviting the public to meet the animals at our centre and the staff who care for them.
“Last year our centre rehomed nearly 500 animals and we have already found a new home for over 162 animals this year. As an animal welfare charity, we receive no government or lottery funding and rely on the generosity of the public to continue our vital work.
“We’d love to see as many people as possible on the day.”
Anyone who would like to attend the Scottish SPCA Rehoming Week open day should head over to their centre on Mansfield Road, Balerno, EH14 7JU between 1-4pm on Saturday 12 May.
