The River Forth Fisheries Trust is changing is name to The Forth Rivers Trust.

The move follows talks with project partners, stakeholders and the public to find out if people understood what the Trust does. It became clear that some were confused by the name.

Simply, The Forth Rivers Trust works to conserve, maintain and improve the quality of the environment, bringing benefits to people and wildlife.

It also engages with communities through a range of activities and learning opportunities to promote the sustainable use of rivers.

The trust say they wll work hard to make the change over as smooth as possible.

However, if there are any questions about the changes the pubic are invited to email trust@fishforth.co.uk or call their office on 0131 445 1527
