Grange yesterday added EuroHockey Trophy gold to the Division One and Scottish Cup titles.

The Edinburgh side crowned a huge season when they beat Ukranian side Vinnitsa 5-2 in the final in Vienna.

Three goals in 12 minutes secured the win and also guaranteed a second place for a Scottish team in the Euro Hockey League, Europe’s top club competition.

Jacob Tweedie opened the scoring after seven minutes but Vinnitsa levelled after 28 minutes.

Calum McKenzie started the goal rush after 35 minutes and captain Cammy Fraser added a third ten minutes later. Frank Ryan added the fourth two minutes after that.

The Ukranian side scored their second two minutes later but Todd Mills slotted a fifth with a minute left to secure the title for the Scots.

It was a fantastic comback for Grange who lost their opening game in the tournament and were then minutes away from failing to make the final stages before a late goal secured their passport.
