Sixteen of Britain’s top young riders track at Berwick on Tuesday in the British under-21 final (7pm).
They include Glasgow Tigers and Kent star Jack Thomas plus former Edinburgh Monarchs and Glasgow racer Dan Bewley (Belle Vue and Workington) and ex-Monarchs rider Max Clegg (Rye House and Stoke).
There are 20 qualifying heats with the top two from the heats going direct to the Grand Final.
Riders placed third to sixth race in a semi-final and the first and second from the semi-final then progress into the Grand Final.
