Next week The City of Edinburgh Council will once again demonstrate their commitment to action on climate change, joining WWF Scotland for the planet’s biggest environmental event.

Earth Hour has been very successful in past years and this year the Council will join millions of people from 187 countries around the world in switching off the lights at the City Chambers for one hour, on Saturday 24 March 2018 at 8.30pm.

The Council will join millions of other people, cities, communities and significant landmarks around the world in a global visual display of commitment to tackle urgent environmental issues and protect our planet.
