Nick Morris has joined Lakeside Hammers from Berwick Bandits and will team up with Richard Lawson who re-joins the new SGB Championship side from Glasgow Tigers.

Morris recently won the SGB Championship Riders’ Individual and Lakeside promoter Jon Cook said: “The signing of Nick will make people sit up and take notice.

“Richard always felt at home here and we’re delighted to welcome him back.”

Meanwhile, Richie Worrall has signed for a third season with Glasgow Tigers and plans to learn from new skipper Chris Harris.

Worrall said: “I’ve never been in the same team as Chris for a year. His knowledge will be invaluable.

“There is always going to be somebody there to look to if I’m struggling.”
