Neil Lennon has been awarded the Ladbrokes Premiership Manager of the Month for October.
The Hibernian Head Coach led his side to three consecutive wins in October against Heart of Midlothian, Motherwell and Kilmarnock after a narrow loss to Aberdeen at the start of the month.
Hibs now sit third in the league, two points off second place, after a positive start to the season however the Northern Irishman believes that it is too early to say where the team will finish at the end of the season.
Lennon told Hibernian Media: “I’m delighted. The players have probably exceeded our expectation. They have had a lot of games recently and came through with flying colours.
“Every manager who gets the ‘manager of the month’ award will say it’s down to the players and it is at the end of the day. If they weren’t getting the results I’d be nowhere near this award. I play a part in that along with my backroom staff so it’s a combination of a real team effort.
“They have been playing brilliantly, not just winning games, but the manner of the victories and showing a lot of character and quality as well, so I’m very pleased with the overall start they have made to the season so far.
“It’s early days to be talking about third spot. Initially it was could we get in the top six? Whether we can maintain
“We have a huge December and I think that at the end of that we will have a clear idea of how the season is going to pan out.
“At the minute we have been playing consistently well and we have done for the season so far. I couldn’t be happier.”
