Hibs have been confirmed as second seeds in the North Section of the Betfred Cup and could meet Edinburgh rivals Hearts in the group stages.
Neil Lennon’s side could also draw Dundee, Ross County or Inverness Caledonian Thistle who are all listed as the top seeds in the North Section.
The Club can then face any of 12 teams in the unseeded pot, which can be found below:
Top Seeds:
Heart of Midlothian, Ross County, Dundee and Inverness Caledonian Thistle
Second Seeds:
Hibernian, Falkirk, Dundee United and Dunfermline Athletic
Unseeded:
Raith Rovers, Alloa Athletic, Brechin City, East Fife, Peterhead, Arbroath, Forfar Athletic, Montrose, Elgin City, Stirling Albion, Cowdenbeath and Buckie Thistle.
Clubs in the North Section will be drawn into four groups of five teams, with this replicated in the south section.
