A new eatery opens in Bruntsfield this Monday, 1 May 2017.
Claiming it will offer food ‘bursting with flavour’ Honeycomb & Co launches a menu inspired by flavours from around the world and the best seasonal produce.
It is a new venture from the team behind many of the city’s eating spots and will open all day long from breakfast at 7.30am till 7pm in the evening. They also offer take-out from the counter so that you can liven up your lunchtimes at home.
Weekend brunch will feature shakshuka, topped with crispy black pudding and hazelnut dukka.
Lunch specials to tempt you include beef ramen, made with beef slow-cooked and served with kimchee and soft boiled egg.
Or how about a bowl of spring minestrone with wild garlic pesto?
Vegetarian and gluten-free choices are available along with coffee and cakes.
Tempting choices might include Persian love cake doughnuts, cinnamon (and black cardamom) buns with tahini or the venue’s signature honey cakes. The restaurant will adopt their own bee hives to provide them with honey and pollen to use in their cakes and granola bowls.
