Edinburgh Capitals have moved to cover for injured netminder Travis Fullerton by signing Jordan Marr from Hull Pirates in the English Premier League as short-term cover for their two Elite League fixtures in Belfast tonight and on Friday.
Lochgelly-born Marr graduated through the highly-rated Fife Flyers development system and is the current starting netminder for Pirates.
He has played a key role in their 2016/17 EPL season, posting a 91.3% save percentage in 27 games.
Coach Michal Dobron said Fullerton has not recovered sufficiently to be available for selection in time for the trip however it is expected Fullerton will return to action in time for the fixture at Fife Flyers on Boxing Day.
