Four men who coordinated a high-value drug operation in West Lothian have been jailed today.

Neil Scott, Ryan Ingleston, Andrew Raven and Andrew Weir appeared before Edinburgh High Court after more than £150,000 worth of class A and B drugs were recovered earlier this year.

Scott was sentenced to 9 years 11 months in prison having pled guilty to drug supply last month.

The 39-year-old was arrested on January 5th alongside Ingleston after officers searched their vehicles in Bathgate and subsequently recovered cannabis resin.

The 25-year-old also pled guilty to drug supply at court last month and has been ordered to serve 3 years 7 months behind bars.

Subsequent house searches in Linlithgow and Bathgate led to the recovery of cannabis resin and cocaine with an estimated street value of £108,570 and £36,000 respectively. Herbal cannabis worth around £8,000 was also seized as well as nearly £30,000 of cash.

Andrew Raven, 35, and Andrew Weir, 28, both received custodial sentences of 5 years and 10 months.

Detecive Inspector David Wright of the Specialist Crime Division said: “Through our inquiries it became clear that these men were responsible for supplying a significant quantity of controlled drugs to the east of Scotland.

“They’re now facing a future behind bars, which I hope sends a clear message to anyone involved in the sale and supply of illegal drugs.

“Police Scotland is committed to identifying and removing those responsible for drug crime and the public have an important role to play by reporting criminal activity in their area, either to police on 101, or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
