Police closed two streets in Leith earlier today following the report of a disturbance at an address in Buchanan Street.
Emergency services were in attendance and the matter was resolved around 7.00pm.
Buchanan Street and Dalmeny Street have now reopened and officers have thanked the public for their patience however no further details have been released regarding the circumstances at this time.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: ” Police in Edinburgh were in attendance following a report of a disturbance at an address in Buchanan Street.
“Officers would like to thank the public for their patience.”
