Police are appealing for information following a robbery at a Greggs bakery which happened around 2.30pm on Sunday on Restalrig Road South.
A man entered the premises and demanded money from staff, before taking a three-figure sum from the till.
The suspect is described as white, slim build, around 5ft 5in, possibly early 20’s with an Edinburgh accent.
He was wearing a light grey coloured full zip hooded top with the hood upand white coloured ties, dark grey coloured jogging bottoms, grey and white coloured trainers, black coloured scarf covering the bottom half of his face.
Detective Constable John McShane said: “Several members of the public walked past the store whilst the suspect was waiting outside the shop.
“We’re appealing for people with any information to get in touch.”
