It is well known that Olympic medallist Sir Chris Hoy and his wife Sarra have a lovely wee baby boy, Callum, but it is also well-known that he was born early, and spent months in hospital before being allowed to go home.
Sir Chris took to Twitter to announce updates on baby Callum’s progress until he was finally allowed to go home and earlier this year used Twitter to post a 1st birthday photo of his son who is clearly now doing well.

Tonight some of the city’s landmark buildings will be lit up purple in response to Sarra Hoy asking them to do so only a few days ago to focus attention on World Prematurity Day today
