Sean Pedder

Police are appealing for information to help trace a 44-year-old man reported missing.

Sean Pedder was last seen in Easter Road at around 10am yesterday (Friday 23 October), and it’s believed he may have been heading towards Mill Lane.

Since then, Sean has not been in contact with family or friends and concern is growing for his welfare.

Sean is described as white, 5ft 10inches tall and of average build. He has medium length grey/brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a black bomber jacket, blue jeans, trainers, and a brown cross-body bag.

Inspector Graeme Dignan of Gayfield said: “Sean didn’t show up for work yesterday, which is out of character for him, and we’re growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“We’re asking anyone who thinks they may have seen Sean, or has any information regarding his whereabouts, to come forward.

“If Sean hears this appeal I would urge him to get in touch with either us or his family and let us know that he is safe and well.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.
