Alan Stubbs has urged supporters to fill Easter Road for the upcoming Premiership play-off semi-final second leg match.
Stubbs is currently enjoying the sunshine as his squad continued to train intensively at the club’s warm weather training base in La Manga with tactical morning sessions followed by afternoon work-outs in the gym.
So far he hasn;t seen a full house at Easter Road, but that could change a week on Saturday.
Hibs will face either Rangers or Queen of the South who meet for a second time on Saturday. Rangers hold a narrow advantage and are seen by many as favourites to progress.
Whoever wins that game will host Hibs on Wednesday 20th May.
Speaking to Hibs TV from La Manga, Stubbs said: “First of all, the supporters have been fantastic to me, the staff and the players all season.
“Now we’re coming to the crunch time – realistically the pinnacle of the season – and everybody is coming together.
“Our supporters want promotion as much as us – we all want the same thing.
“The supporters are desperate for us to get back up into the Premiership and so are we.
“If we can do it at the first attempt it would be fantastic. Our supporters have been through an awful lot – I must stress that – but now we have an opportunity to go up together.
“It will be a collective effort and the fans cannot underestimate the role that they will play in this.
“I haven’t seen a full Easter Road yet. I would love to see one over the next four games.
“That would be perfect for me and the biggest sign that everybody is ready to get behind the team.”
