Police in West Lothian are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Broxburn which happened around 11.10pm yesterday in West Mains Street.
A 32-year-old male pedestrian was involved in a collision with a Peugeot E7 S taxi and sustained serious injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Road Policing Officers are now urging anyone who can assist with their ongoing enquiry to come forward.
Sergeant Gary Taylor said: “At this time, we are trying to establish exactly what has happened to result in this fatal collision and we are keen to hear from any motorists or members of the public who were in the area at the time.
“Officers are also trying to establish the man’s movements prior to this incident and anyone who believes they have information relevant to our investigation is asked to contact police immediately.”
