Michie Arita

Police are appealing for information to help trace a woman reported missing in Fife.
Michie Arita, from the Anstruther area, was last in touch with her family around Friday 17th September 2014, but has not been seen or heard from since. Her disappearance is out of character for the 66-year-old and police are keen to trace her as soon as possible.
Michie is described as Japanese, 5ft 2ins tall, slim build, with short black hair.

Sergeant Jim Anderson, who is in charge of the search, said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Michie’s welfare the longer she remains missing, and are appealing to anyone who has seen or heard from her, or who knows where she is, to contact police.

“Similarly, we would appeal to Michie to contact us directly so that we confirm she is safe and well.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.
