Police have confirmed that a woman has died following a road collision in Edinburgh city-centre last week.
Angela Clemente from Madrid, Spain was on Princes Street at around 9am on Tuesday 8th July when she was involved in a collision with a First X44 bus.
The 66-year-old sustained serious injuries and was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh before being transferred to the Western General for treatment.
She passed away yesterday evening.
Road Policing Officers continue to investigate the full circumstances surrounding this incident and anyone who witnessed the collision or who has information that can assist police with their enquiries is asked to come forward.
