A man is to stand trial charged with raping a ten-year-old girl at an address in Edinburgh between July 1997 and February 1998.
57 year old Morris Petch is also charged with attempting to rape the same girl and lewd and libidinous practices against her.
He is also accused of sexually abusing a young boy.
Petch appeared at the High Court in Glasgow today for a preliminary hearing.
He will stand trial in Edinburgh in November.
