Police Scotland is appealing for information on the whereabouts of a 48 year old man who was been reported missing from the Inch area of Edinburgh on 30th June.
Concerns are growing for Hugh Buchanan who disappeared from his home on Glenallan Drive on Monday 30th June and was last seen near Cameron Toll Shopping Centre on Monday 7th July. He is believed to frequent the Cameron Toll and Newington areas.
Police are now issuing two photos from CCTV of Hugh on the No.3 Lothian bus on 26th June.
Hugh is described as being white, 5ft 11in to 6ft tall, medium build, waist length dark grey hair which is unkempt and tied back, long black and grey beard, green eyes, wearing dark blue zip-up hooded top, dark jogging bottoms and possibly in possession of a red and black jacket.
Inspector Murray Tait said: “Police, along with his family, are getting increasingly concerned for Hugh. He is a very private person but his disappearance is out of character. Anyone who has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.”
Anyone who knows where Hugh is or who has information that could assist should contact police on 101.
