Police Scotland has released an e-fit image of a man they are looking to identify following investigation into indecent assaults in Livingston.

This unidentified man was observed within the vicinity of a property in Orchard Place, Livingston in the early hours of Wednesday 7 May 2014.

The man is described as white, 25 to 30 years of age, 5ft 10in to 5ft 11in, thin build, long face, large thin nose, short dark brown or black hair, long on top, wearing a grey coloured sweat shirt.

Detective Superintendent Pat Campbell from Police Scotland said:  “Following new information, we are now in a position to release an e-fit image of a male we are looking to trace and identify who was observed near to Orchard Place, Livingston on the 7th May 2014, following the indecent attack on a female.”

“Can I stress that this male may have had legitimate reasons to be within this area at this time – and I would ask that if this is the case that the individual comes forward to the Police in order to be eliminated from the investigation. I would also ask that any suggestions as to the identity of this male from the public is also forwarded to the Police as a matter of urgency.”

“We are fully committed to catching this perpetrator, but I would advise women to take care when walking alone at night in the Livingston area, and to report any suspicious behaviour they may have noticed.”
