Appeal for missing person, Edinburgh
Police in Edinburgh are appealing for witnesses about a 49-year-old man who has been reported missing from the capital.
Police are getting increasingly concerned for Pascal Pierre Malhaire, who is originally from France, but has been living in the North of Edinburgh for the past two years.
He has not been seen since 22 July, when he was staying at a hostel on Ferry Road.
He is described as white male, 5ft 8, medium build, balding dark blond hair, last seen wearing blue jeans and a baseball cap and a large hiking rucksack.
Sergeant Steven Marr said:- “Pascal does not have a high level of English but by those who know him is said to be a polite and friendly person.
Pascal has previously slept rough in wooded areas of Edinburgh with his tent. If anyone has seen a man matching Pascal’s description, or have any information to his whereabouts, we ask that they contact Police Scotland on 101.”
