Entry to the show is free. The doors open at 9.30am and close at 4.30pm, but anyone in the queue by 4.30pm will be guaranteed to see an expert say the BBC.
Organisers encourage visitors to use public transport as parking is very limited around the surrounding area of the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. The number 13 bus from the city centre goes to the gallery.
There is also a limited free shuttle bus from the Scottish National Gallery on The Mound, near Waverley Station to the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, running between 9:00am and 2:00pm.
Popular presenter Fiona Bruce will be there along with leading antiques and fine arts specialists, who offer free advice and valuations.

Work to reinstate the Heart of Midlothian War Memorial to its location at Haymarket junction began this week.
The city’s Transport Convener, Councillor Lesley Hinds, and the Managing Director of Heart of Midlothian Football Club , David Southern, placed a time capsule in the base of the memorial in commemoration of the club’s footballers who lost their lives in World War One.
The memorial was placed in storage in 2009 for safe-keeping as tram construction works were taking place in the area. It will be carefully rebuilt over the next six weeks in the centre of the Haymarket road junction, opposite the Haymarket bar.
Councillor Lesley Hinds, Transport Convener, said:- “This memorial holds a special place in the hearts of many in Edinburgh and I’m delighted work is now beginning to restore it to its rightful place in the centre of the Haymarket junction.
“Tram work continues to progress well along the length of the route – 2013 has been a very productive year so far for the project and I expect that to continue.”
David Southern, Managing Director of Hearts, said: “This memorial is one of the jewels in the crown of Heart of Midlothian Football Club and is naturally something that everyone associated with the club is very proud of. We are delighted that it is being re-instated and can once again take its rightful place as one of this great city’s prime landmarks.
“We will never forget the sacrifice made by those players, supporters and shareholders of Hearts along with the players and supporters of other teams and that is why it is a privilege to be present at the return of the memorial. I’d like to thank the City of Edinburgh Council, the Friends of the Heart of Midlothian War Memorial, our own club archivists and McCrae’s Battalion Trust for their understanding and diligence through this entire process.”
The contract completion date for the project remains summer 2014, notwithstanding reports elsewhere that the trams will be running by Christmas. Once on-street works and overhead cabling work have been completed, a programme of rigorous testing and commissioning will take place to prepare the system and the service for operation. The tram project team will report to Council in September 2013 with an update on project progress.

What’s On Scotland tell us all about the golf in St Andrew Square today.
This is what they say:-
“The Open in the Square will take place in St Andrew Square from Thursday 11 to Saturday 13 July inclusive, the week before the Championship and from 11.00am to 7.00pm on Thursday 11, Friday 12 and Saturday 13 July and will be free and open to the public. We’d love you to join us. The public will have the opportunity to try golf, to receive tips from PGA golf professionals, to play some of the great Open courses on EA Sports games consoles and to get their picture taken with the Claret Jug. The event will also feature a golf simulator, a large screen showing some of the great moments from The Open Championship and artificial practice putting greens. The 142nd Open Championship will take place at Muirfield from 14 – 21 July. It will be the 16th time the Championship has been played at the East Lothian links and some of the game’s greatest champions have won there including Harry Vardon, James Braid, Walter Hagen, Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus, Lee Trevino, Tom Watson, Nick Faldo and Ernie Els.”
