A 14-year-old male has been charged with alleged wilful fire-raising after two police cars were set alight in Edinburgh. Both vehicles were completely destroyed as a result of the fires, which happened in Niddrie House Park on Monday evening (July 8th). The youth will now be reported to the Children’s Reporter.
Police Scotland are committed to protecting the public, tackling anti-social behaviour and keeping people safe; as such local officers continue to provide high-visibility police patrols in the area to engage with the community and offer reassurance.
