Hibs head coach David Gray has provided a squad fitness update ahead of today’s Edinburgh Derby.
With the games coming thick and fast, Gray highlighted the importance of rest and recovery in the lead-up to this Sunday’s Edinburgh Derby. He told Hibs TV:
“We’ve had a few bumps and bruises from the last couple of games, but the recovery has been key.
“On the training pitch, we’ve been making sure we’ve got minutes into the legs of some of the boys who haven’t played as much so that everybody can step into the team if called upon.
“It has been a successful week so far and we’re all ready for the Derby at the weekend.”
When speaking to the media on Friday, Gray also provided the latest on Elie Youan and Dylan Levitt who have returned to training and could feature on Sunday.
“Elie Youan and Dylan Levitt both trained so we will see how they come through that.
“Joe Newell is the only one who is definitely ruled out for Sunday. Everyone else will be available for selection for the matchday squad.”
