Two 17-year-old males have been arrested and charged in connection with the attempted murder of a 16-year-old male in Edinburgh. 

The incident took place in Stenhouse Avenue West, around 9pm on Sunday, 22 December, 2024.  

The victim was taken to hospital, where he remains. 

The pair are expected to appear from custody on Tuesday, 24 December, 2024. 

Officers are continuing to follow further positive lines of enquiry.
