Scottish Water have announced that they will carry out investigative work on Leith Street, Calton Hill, Waterloo Place and Calton Road from Monday 17 June.
This will lead to some road closures but all roads will remain open for emergency vehicle and pedestrian access.
The work, to be carried out by Scottish Water’s contractor MacKenzie Construction, will commence on Monday 17th June for approximately three weeks.
On Monday 17 June, Leith Street and Calton Hill will be closed overnight between 8.00pm and 6.00am for two nights.
On Wednesday 19 June, Waterloo Place will be closed between 8.00pm and 6.00am.
On Thursday 20 June there will be a lane closure on Calton Road with temporary traffic lights for 2 weeks.
Scottish Water urges road users to follow all directional signage in place and allow extra time for journeys.
