World Tapas Day is in June and the team at Duck & Waffle have looked no further than PIGGS to find a talented culinary duo to pair up with.
The brothers from Edinburgh Spanish wine and tapas bar PIGGS, Daniel and Victor Campos, will collaborate with Duck & Waffle Corporate Chef Maxwell Terheggen for an evening filled with tapas, drinks and entertainment.
The special menu on Thursday 20 June starts with Jamon Iberico and Pan Con Tomate followed by a brilliant lineup of tapas, including Tortilla Española, a Spanish omelette with confit onions and aioli, Albondigas, succulent beef and pork meatballs with sherry sauce; and Pincho de Sobrasada, toasted brioche topped with sobrasada, Mahon cheese, Scottish honey, and walnuts, all complemented by Duck & Waffle Edinburgh’s new summer dishes including King Prawns with garlic butter, white wine, and a touch of chilli and Tenderstem Broccoli with hummus and chilli crunch. The meal concludes with crispy, cinnamon-dusted Churros and chocolate sauce.
