Stacey Whyte, Salon Director at Cheveux Salon Edinburgh and her team have been committed to fundraising initiatives in the past raising, money through their Gala Day celebrations for Saltersgate School, Loanhead Gala Day Charity and Social Bite.
This Christmas, Stacey and the team want to give back to Saltersgate SEN School by asking clients for a small donation to help them reach their target of £40,000. People who would like to support Cheveux Salon and Saltersgate School can donate in salon or via the Go Fund Me link. The school provides invaluable education and support to students with a wide range of special educational needs. In their mission to create an inclusive and supportive environment, the school is committed to improving the facilities available to their students, and one way is to introduce the Innowalk Pro.
The Innowalk Pro is a cutting-edge mobility device designed to assist individuals with mobility challenges, making it an ideal addition to the school. Its innovative design and technology will empower students, allowing them to exercise and improve their mobility in a safe and comfortable way.
“Every year we are always in undated with gifts from clients, but this year we are asking clients for a donation to our fundraising campaign which will undoubtedly make a significant difference in the lives of the children at Saltersgate School,” said . “We believe that every child should have access to opportunities that promote their well-being, and this is our way of contributing to that vision.”
The fundraising campaign aims to raise the necessary funds to purchase the Innowalk Pro, extending its benefits to older students at Saltersgate School. The device is not only a tool for physical development but also a source of motivation and positivity for the students, providing them with an opportunity to explore a wider range of activities.
Stacey said: “We are deeply touched by the generosity and support shown by Cheveux Salon and Stacey Whyte,” said Jane Minelly, Head Teacher of Saltersgate School.
“This fundraising campaign represents an essential step towards providing our students with the tools they need to reach their full potential.”
The campaign’s fundraising efforts will be an integral part of Cheveux Salon’s commitment to making a positive impact on the local community. In addition to their own contributions, the salon will also be seeking support from clients, partners, and the wider community to achieve their fundraising goal.
