Lecture
One of the world’s leading cancer experts is set to speak at the Royal Society of Edinburgh on Friday, 1 December, about the rising need for cancer prevention measures.
Worldwide deaths from cancer are expected to rise in the next 20 years, but while research into treatments and cures continues apace, prevention measures are also vital.
Friday’s event – a partnership between the Scottish Cancer Foundation (SCF) and the Royal Society of Edinburgh (RSE) – will be chaired by Professor Robert Steele, Fellow of the RSE, and chair of the SCF.
Tickets for the lecture are free and can be obtained here.
