A high-speed police chase through the capital ended with a van crashing into a car on Arboretum Road yesterday afternoon.
The pursuit began when a van allegedly failed to stop for police officers at 1.30pm while driving on Holyrood Road.
The three male occupants of the van, two aged 20 and one aged 19 were arrested following the collision and taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment.
The driver of the car was checked over at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson told reporters: “The pursuit concluded on Arboretum Road.
“The occupant of the car was checked over by the Scottish Ambulance Service at the scene.”
“The three occupants of the van were taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary Hospital.
“Three men, aged 20, 20 and 19 have been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
