The knitting group at Fairmilehead Parish Church hand knitted five dozen teddies during lockdown to welcome the new P1 pupils at Buckstone Primary School during their first days of term.
The teddies are all individual and dressed in the school uniform.
They are a big hit with all of the children who were happy to show them off to The Edinburgh Reporter today. Some have already been given names.
The teddy bears were created by the knitting group who call themselves The Flock, after the minister Reverend Cheryl McKellar-Young put the idea to them. Read the full story here
