Former Hearts player David Hagen has died at the age of 47.
Hagen, who also played for Rangers, Falkirk, Livingston, Clyde and Peterhead, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease more than two years ago.
The forward left Rangers for Hearts in December 1994 and left Tynecastle less than a year later for Falkirk.
The highlight of Hagen’s time at Tynecastle was his late winner against Celtic at Hampden Park in April 1995 as the Maroons secured a precious league win in their fight against relegation.
The Edinburgh Reporter sends its condolences to David Hagen’s family and friends at this sad time.
