SGB Premiership, play-off, semi-final, second-leg: Swindon Robins 58, Wolverhampton Wolves 32 (agg: 107-71)
Danish duo Rasmus Jensen and Claus Vissing (pictured with Tigers’ manager Cami Brown), who both ride for Glasgow Tigers, helped Somerset Rebels claim a slot in the SGB Premiership play-off final against Ipswich Witches next week.
Jensen starred in the 58-32 second-leg win collecting eight points as the Wiltshire side cruised through 107-71 on aggregate.
His countryman Vissing, who has also ridden for Edinburgh Monarchs and Berwick Bandits, also collected eight points.
Wolves disappointed with Edinburgh Monarchs star Sam Masters scoring three points and ex-Monarchs racer, Rory Schlein, Wolverhampton’s skipper, collecting five points.
Kyle Howarth, another former Edinburgh rider, was Wolves top racer with ten points.
Peter Adams, Wolverhampton’s team manager, said; “Robins were the better team by far.”
The first-leg of the final is at Ipswich on Monday with the return at The Abbey on Thursday.
