A second man has been charged in connection with two armed robberies in the Newington and Southside areas of the city.
The incidents took place shortly after 1am and 1.30am on Sunday 17 March in the Sciennes House Place and Drummond Street areas.
The female victims, aged 20 and 22, were threatened and had a number of personal items stolen. A 25-year-old man appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Wednesday 20 March, with an 18-year-old man due to appear in court today (Friday 22nd March). Detectives would like to thank the public for their continued support during this investigation.
