The Club, via the GameChanger Partnership, is a driving force behind the city-wide Edinburgh Cheer campaign again this Christmas, and are looking for the help of fans to fund two key programmes:
Working with Destiny Church, Hibs want to raise funds to provide 1000 families in need with Christmas Hampers containing festive food and small gifts.
Each year, the Church raises funding to provide 500 hampers – but this year Hibs want to help double that effort. For every £20 raised, a family can have a happier Christmas
Working with Streetwork, Cyrenians and other homeless charities, Hibs want to collect warm clothing and raise funds to buy all-weather sleeping bags to help keep rough sleepers as warm and safe as possible
Every penny donated will passed on. Every article of warm, dry clothing will help keep someone warm. Every sleeping bag purchased may prevent someone freezing to death.
You can help by:
Visiting the hamper donation page at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fund/hamperappeal2018
Dropping warm, clean, dry clothing (only in new or as-new condition please) in to the stadium or to excess baggage at Waverley Station (next to platform 2).
Club Staff and players will set the ball rolling. Please help those in need this Christmas time.
