SNUGGLY INSPIRATION THIS WINTER ON HOW TO KEEP WARM AND LOOK GOOD!
Karelia House recently hosted a top Fashion Show and Exhibition for top British wool brand Rowan, currently celebrating its 40th Anniversary.
The craft retailer and centre offers plenty of ideas on how to look good whilst staying warm and cosy this winter with wool and patterns for knitted garments for all the family. Karelia House is in Aberfeldy but it is a great suggestion for a day out for crafters with its coffee shop serving light lunches.
Guests at the event were treated to the same show as had already been seen at Peter Jones in Sloane Square, London.
As well as showcasing Rowan’s yarns, including ruby coloured ones to celebrate the anniversary, the event raised nearly £450 for Alzheimer Scotland, the charity chosen by Karelia House, a family run, independent crafting retailer. Local customers, along with friends and family, modelled on the night.
The show was an important date on Rowan’s UK tour which kicked off in London on the 8th September, and a huge coup for a Scottish independent retailer.
