50 goals were scored across the country on an enthralling William Hill Scottish Cup Second Round Saturday.

The capital derby ended with a 1-0 win for on-form Edinburgh City over Civil Service Strollers whilst Spartans lost 3-1 to East Kilbride .

Brora Rangers scored six as they comfortably beat Borders side Coldstream at Dudgeon Park.

Beith Juniors were also comfortable winners as they put four past Linlithgow Rose while Formartine United caused the upset of the round knocking out struggling League Two side Albion Rovers.

Both BSC Glasgow and University of Stirling progressed to the third round for the very first time after wins over Cumbernauld Colts and Deveronvale respectively.

Our featured match saw League Two Annan Athletic record a 1-0 win over Rothes while Peterhead beat Kelty Hearts 3-2 in an exciting tie that had plenty of late drama.

Cove Rangers and Auchinleck will do it all over again at Beechwood Park next Saturday after drawing 1-1.
