Hibs’ Head coach Neil Lennon has praised his players after an ‘outstanding’ performance in yesterday’s 3-0 win at Dens Park.

Three second half goals secured the points although Hibs dominated throughout and the scoreline flattered the hosts.

The victory saw Hibs climb to second in the table although Celtic and Rangers are both in action today.

Speaking after the game to cliff Pike from Hibernian TV, a delighted Lennon said:”I have to say that was one of the best performances I’ve had here in my time as Hibs manager.

“Whilst at times I can be critical of the team, when they don’t perform to the standards I ask of them, today they were absolutely outstanding.

“Every one of them from Adam (Bogdan) right through to the subs that came on.

“It was a complete performance particularly in the second half.

“We should have been ahead at half time but we missed some gilt edged chances and that was my only concern but it’s still work in progress, this new formation that we are trying.

“The second half we were outstanding, every one of them. we defended well and broke well on the counter attack and had good pace in the right areas.

“We scored three really good goals and could have had more. There were a lot of aspects about the game that I was really pleased with.”
