Edinburgh Monarchs have confirmed that the Scottish Open will be held at Armadale on Friday, May 11.
Harrisons, the Ford dealers in Peebles, are the man sponsors and The Scottish Open has been a popular event in the Monarchs calendar going back to the days when they raced at Old Meadowbank.
John Campbell, Monarchs’ co-promoter, said: “The 2018 event will follow the formula that has become traditional in recent years with 20 qualifying heats.
“Invitations will be going out to 16 riders later this week.”
Meanwhile, Friday night’s action sees Edinburgh host Workington in the SGB Championship from 7.30pm and Berwick Bandits visit Glasgow Tigers in the same competition with tapes up at 7pm.
