The Merchistonian Club which is a club for former pupils at Merchiston Castle School in Colinton has a new sponsor.
The club has joined up with Murray Capital who will fund the kit for sports teams and hosting of events by donating a five figure sum over three years.
Murray Capital banners will be on display at all of the club’s sporting fixtures and events. The link is David M Murray who is the managing director of Murray Capital and a former pupil.
He said : “Having attended Merchiston Castle myself, I feel a natural affinity with the Merchistonian Club and was keen to lend Murray Capital’s support.”
Matthew Gray, president of the Merchistonian Club, added: “I am delighted to welcome Murray Capital as the club’s title sponsor. Their much valued support will ensure that we can build on the rich history of the club and continue to be a vibrant community for all Merchistonians.”
